Surveon New NVR Series Features Advanced Data Storage and Easy System Monitoring at IFSEC 2015

Surveon, the complete megapixel solutions provider, is going to showcase its new surveillance solutions at IFSEC UK, including the full line of Full HD RAID NVR series, VMS 3.0 advanced video management solution, and SurveOne web-based system monitoring tool, to provide secured data storage and easy management of its end to end solutions. Surveon offers a full line of video recording solutions in two different form factors. The all-in-one, hot-swappable tower SMR series comes with the options of 2, 4, 8 bays and supports up to 64-channel Full HD (1080p) recording. The rackmount series includes the professional NVR3000 for entry-level, budget-saving applications, and the enterprise, cableless, modularized NVR5000 for the medium to high-end markets. All of Surveon NVRs are with industrial-grade components and in-house design and production to ensure product quality and reliability for long-hour operations.

The Surveon enterprise VMS 3.0 features the large data backup and archiving functions, allowing recently recorded videos to be moved to long-term storage arrays to avoid risks of corruption on the live disks. The backup function also gives users the bandwidth control to deal with unstable network connections, adding extra layers of security during scheduled backup. Moreover, retrieval can be achieved from both local and remote locations, making it efficient for large data management and multi-site security operations. Furthermore, video files can be stored in the remote ISCSI or NAS storage to guarantee data integrity and longer retention periods.

With the newly launched, web-based system monitoring tool, SurveOne, the health of the overall systems, including NVRs, cameras, and storage is constantly monitored and thus the system stability can be achieved. To simplify setup, SurveOne enables users to copy the hardware configurations and apply them to other devices to save time and efforts. For easy maintenance, the 3 level-classified real-time event logs, critical errors, errors and warnings, allow users to take action efficiently, and thus mitigate risks and reduce losses.
